Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026. This policy explains how A-I Computer Solutions, LLC handles your information — both what you give us directly and the data on devices you trust us to repair.

Home → Privacy Policy

The Short Version

We collect only the information needed to do your repair and stay in touch about it. We don't sell, rent, or trade customer information to anyone. The files on your computer are treated as private, accessed only as the job requires, and any copies we make during service are securely erased when the job is done.

Information We Collect

Contact and service information. When you bring in a device, call, or use the contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, a description of the problem, and the details needed to service your device. This is used to communicate about your repair, provide estimates, and fulfill the work you asked for.

Device data in our care. Computers brought in for service necessarily contain personal files. We do not browse customer data. Technicians access only what a specific job requires — for example, verifying that a recovered photo library opens correctly, or confirming email works after a repair. Data recovered or backed up during service is returned to you and our working copies are securely wiped, typically within 30 days of job completion and pickup.

Website information. This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising networks. Our server keeps standard technical logs (time, page requested, browser type) for security and maintenance purposes only.

How We Use Information

We do not use your contact information for marketing campaigns, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to complete your service (for example, a warranty claim on a replacement part) or when required by law.

Data Security

Devices in our shop are kept in a secured area with access limited to staff working on them. Backup drives used during service stay in the shop and are wiped after use. Remote support sessions are initiated by you, use encrypted connections, and end completely when the session closes — nothing remains running on your machine.

Equipment Left Behind

Devices not picked up within 90 days of completed service, after reasonable attempts to reach you, may be recycled or disposed of as described in our terms of service. Before any drive is recycled, it is wiped or physically destroyed.

Your Choices

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete your contact information from our records (subject to records we must keep for tax and warranty purposes). Call 605-753-1337 or email info@aicomputersolutions.us.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page for a reasonable period.
